The advantage of straw pellet is that it multiplies the excellent virtues of straw.
Entering the system the raw, selected quality, pure wheat straw first gets through the bale opener into the sieve, then into the special mill, during which its hygroscopicity multiplies due to the increased absorbing surface. Int he course of the pelleting process the material is reached by high temperature (100-130 °C) for a long period, which helps to reduce the plate count.
The cooled, finished pellet gets over a sieving, so thus with removing the small pieces and dust formed during the production, the material destined for packaging becomes dustfree.
One of its advantages is that it fits in a small place and is easy to transport, which eases the handling and storage of the litter.
Due to the excellent hygroscopicity of the straw litter pellet, the ammonia doesn’t get into the animal’s body, so the various respiratory diseases can be avoided. The good hygroscopicity helps to keep away the various insects, horseflies and flies by absorbing the smelliness.
The finished goods are stored in a dry, dustfree place, so they arrive to your barn, into your litter tray in the same quality as they came off the production line.
